Verses for your Inspiration and Enlightenment

Hebrews 13: 5 -6, 20-21

" Let your conversation (way of living, behavior) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hat said, 'I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.'
So that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.' "

"Now the God of Peace, Who brought again from the dead our Lord Yeshua ha Meshiach, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant,
Make you perfect (mature in Him, complete in Him) in every good work to do His Will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His Sight, through Yeshua the Messiah; to Whom be glory forever and ever. Amen."

Jeremiah 6: 16

"Thus saith The Lord YHWH, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the Good Way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. ...."

Malachi 4: 1 - 2

" For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shal be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith The Lord of hosts, YHWH Sabaoth, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear My Name (haShem, YHWH, The Lord) shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with Healing in His Wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."

Zechariah 14: 1 -

"Behold, the day of The Lord YHWH cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem / Yerushalayim / to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then shall The Lord YHWH go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.
And His Feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem / Yerushalayim / on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and The Lord YHWH my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
... v. 8 ... And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem / Yerushalayim/ half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
... v. 9 ... And The Lord YHWH shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord YHWH, and His Name One.
... v. 12 ... And this shall be the plague wherewith The Lord YHWH will smite the people that have fought against Jerusalem / Yerushalayim/ ; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes (sockets), and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
v. 13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord YHWH shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
... v. 16 ... And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem / Yerushalayim / shall even go up from year to year to worship The King, The Lord of hosts (YHWH Sabaoth), and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
v. 17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem / Yerushalayim / to worship The King, The Lord of hosts (YHWH Sabaoth), even upon them shall be no rain.
... v. 18b ... there shall be the plague, wherewith The Lord YHWH will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
v. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
v. 20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, "HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD (YHWH); and the pots in the Lord's (YHWH's) House shall be like the bowls before the altar.
v. 21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem / Yerushalayim / and in Judah / Yehudah / shall be holiness unto The Lord of hosts (YHWH Sabaoth): and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the House of The Lord of hosts (YHWH Sabaoth)."

the Phyllis Schlafly Report

Friends,

If you are not yet aware of the organization called Eagle Forum, please at least read the report on that site, for the month of September of 2008, using the link I have put below. Have only included the title for that page's articles, below here, for you to get a quick idea of what you will read about, on Mrs. Schlafly's Eagle Forum site page there.

It is both enlightening and helpful to all who are true believers in The Lord Jesus Christ / The Lord Adonai Messiah Yeshua. We all need to be informed, and Eagle Forum is one sure way to know what is going on, behind the scenes, within our nation! Phyllis Schlafly is one dear grandmother who cares very much about what all of us, as believers in The Lord, need to use to urge us to pray, and to seek God's Face, about.

The world scene is changing so that the values many of us grew up being taught ... are under fire, to say the least. Please read what is on her site, and support Eagle Forum with your prayers, ... at least. They are doing a great job of keeping us informed about what's going on in Washington, and among those who legislate laws that they try to "sneak by us," because they know the general voting public in America will not support what those in Committees in the House of Representatives and in the Senate "have in mind."

Though our nation's laws may no longer be able to sufficiently protect us, as true believers, and God-fearing voting American citizens, God Almighty, YHWH, the Great I AM, El Elyon -- the Most High -- is still alive, and always will be, and He is still in control of all things, and of all people. He will never let us down! He will always defend us, and will always hold us in His Hands, carrying us in His everlasting Arms. We can never be separated from The Agape Love of The Lord Almighty, El Shaddai! And He keeps His Word -- He is YHWH Shammah, Who is ever with us, because He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us, so that we can boldly say: The Lord is my helper, I will not fear! -- from Hebrews 13: 6

Praise The Lord all day!
He is your Help and your Shield!
He is your High Tower, your Refuge in times of trouble!

Fruit of The Spirit Friday "meme" from Robin Sampson's blog

    Fruit of the Spirit Friday

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

    http://heartofwisdom.com/blog/fruit-of-the-spirit-friday-meme/

Jesus Said, “A tree is judged by its fruit.”

The fruit of the Spirit is a wonderful study for Christians at any level of spiritual maturity. For Fruit of the Spirit Friday you can write any post sharing what God is teaching you.

    Prompts:

    1. What fruit did you learn, see, or teach this week?
    2. How do grow in your relationship with God?
    3. How can we let the Living Water flow through us?
    4. What is something that hinders fruit? How can we fix it?
    5. How do you abide?
    6. What fruits do you want or lack?
    7. How does the Bible define this fruit?
    8. How does God reveal this fruit to us?
    9. What is the evidence of this fruit in one’s life?
    10. Share an example of the presence of this fruit in someone’s life.
    11. How does fruit or lack of it in our life affect others? (spouse, children, friends)
    12. What can you do to express more of this fruit in your character?

    Meme Goal

God wants us to bring Him glory and honor. We do this by exhibiting the fruit of His Spirit from abiding in Him. I began this meme because I have personally experienced a deeper walk as a result of journaling as part of my personal Bible study. We all struggle with dying to self daily–we are commanded to share one another’s burdens–I’m hoping the meme will help others focus on God and grow spiritually growth.

Making a mental commitment to write on a fruit of the spirit each week should make you more aware of your spiritual walk and hopefully prompt you to examine the fruit in your life several times during the week. This type self examination is Biblical.

    Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith;
    prove your own selves;
know ye not your own selves,
how that Jesus Christ is in you.

    2 Cor. 13:5

Praying about your spiritual condition, mulling it around, searching Scripture, and just deciding on a fruit of to write about will put your focus on God and spiritual growth. Journaling (or blogging) internalizes and personalizes the spiritual principles you are learning. Our gaol is not to be heard or gain approval from man — the purpose is to encourage each other and bring honor to God. We do this by Being the Branch

    Meme Tips

    • Pray first for guidance and for others joining this meme.
    • Examine fruit in your life daily. Don’t wait for Friday to think of a fruit.
    • Watch for prompting from God’s Spirit during Bible study time, daily routines, etc during the week
    • Keep a note pad to jot down verses or thoughts or keep thoughts in your blog entry in draft mode.
    • Write about one fruit on Friday or about a person who exhibits fruit or answer the prompts abpve.
    • Late post are completely acceptable–we’re all busy. Post whenever you can.
    • Tag at least two people to do the same.
    • Write as much or little as you feel led to write–one verse or one thought is participation.
    • Share your link on the current Friday blog entry on this blog. (not your blog URL , but the link to the direct post–I will try to post my entry by Friday morning)
    • Feel free to use the image above and link back to this page.
    • If you don’t have a blog you can post your journaling in the comments section of the current Friday entry.

Remember fruit does not come from efforts (of legalistic rule-following) but grows naturally (out of trust).
