A Blessing is "hidden" in a Letter of long ago, for You

Dear friends, Isn't The Word, the Living Word of God, so inspiring to your heart?!

As you go through each day, please remember that someone is praying for you, somewhere. It may be a relative or a friend who has met you.

What have you been thinking about today? God has been urging me to spend more time with Him. For that desire to grow, it must be fed. If I have a proper "fear of The Lord," then I see Him with more understanding than I used to have.

God has put into the hearts of all who trust in Him, who fear Him with that reverential fear that urges us to want to honor Him, and to show Him we believe He rules over all that is in the universe, and we want that belief to shine through all that we do. We desire to please Him, in all we do. We believe He has all power in Heaven and in earth! We know He knows all that can be known, and at a much higher level than we are able to achieve. His thoughts are not our thoughts! His ways are higher than our ways!

"The fear of God" is hard for me to describe, in a way. Do you who believe also find that concept difficult to describe? Is it something you "know" deep inside? I am not asking if that is part of its definition. I mean "is it something that you, yourself, are aware of and knowledgeable of?"

God has enabled me to understand it within my own heart. And I wish all who read this blog would also know what the "fear of The Lord YHWH" means. Then we could all *live it,* as He desires we do. It leads us to do *the right thing* at all times. The fear of The Lord YHWH is the beginning of (true) Wisdom. That is true.

I will trust that He will also enable you to understand it, in a deeper way, once you have chosen to believe in and let yourself become aware of all that Yeshua (and YHWH) is and all that He wants you to know and all that He wants you to become.

There is a wonderful, most inspiring blessing in the first chapter of Paul's (Rav Shaul's) letter to the believers in Yeshua the Messiah who lived in Colossae, long, long ago. This blessing can be found in Colossians 1, verses 9 through 14 (and beyond).

I have included the entire chapter, so you can enjoy reading it all. God's Word is so rich and inspiring! I love reading it. Taking in and "digesting" the nourishing "food" that God Himself (YHWH) inspired men to write as "words" lifts me up, even while I may be in a period of life in which there are many tests, that make my journey similar to gold or silver being purifed with fire seven times. Once it has had all the dross removed by the refiner, it shines! And the refiner can see His own Face in that silver (or gold)! I want that! I want Yeshua my Lord and Deliverer / Redeemer to see His own Face reflected in my life. !!!

God uses all events and circumstances in life, as our ancestors knew well, to teach us, and to grow us, into His bright, even brilliant, diamonds. But diamonds endure much heat and much pressure, to become as beautiful as they are. ! He desires we allow His abundant, life-giving Light to shine through us into others' lives, so that they, in turn, can pass that spark (Light) on to still more people.

That way, God shows us that He desires all to have an opportunity to become aware of Him Who made us, and knows us better than anyone else can. He is the generous One, Who suffers with us, but Who also chose to give of Himself and of His Life, to make us honorable vessels He can use for good. He can fill us with His Life-giving power of genuine Love. And with that, He can let that Love overflow to others we meet.

He is The One Who intimately knew (while He was on earth) the griefs that we have experienced, and was tempted like as we are ... even to complain (though He did not choose to complain), or to ask His Father questions such as "why must I go through this?" or "why don't You come now and deliver me from this hard time? or this difficulty?" He knew why. He wanted not His Will to be done, but that of His Father in Heaven.

Yeshua, the true Anointed One, God's Messiah, really did take our griefs upon Himself, and He bore all our sorrows, while He hung (as a "curse") on "the tree" ... what many believers call "the Cross." He was despised and rejected by men who simply could not see Who He really was! But He voluntarily did it all ... for you and for me! wow! How limitless is His agape Love for you ... and for me! How generous the King of Kings is!

He desired fellowship with us! ... with you! ... and with me!
He says in His Word He rejoices over you (and me) "with joy"! Think about that!

His thoughts about you are so numerous every day that they cannot be counted (by a person)!

Do I allow Him to enjoy fellowship with me, in the way He wants us to spend time together, every day?

Do each of us set aside time to spend with our Best Friend, Who knows you and me much better than anyone else does, and yet He still chooses to show us the kind of unconditional Love that we do not deserve?

Will I be so glad to meet Him face to Face, that I can hardly stand to wait until that happens?
Do I look forward to dying (by Him designing it or allowing it, not me) so that I will "ever be with The Lord" of glory, *enjoying* His presence, because I have spent much time with Him, while on this journey on earth, in preparation for that time eternal, in Heaven?

Will I give Him my time, today? Will I choose to "meet" with my generous Giver of Life today, ... my gentle Deliverer, Who loved me even when I was unloveable and selfish (before I accepted His free gift of deliverance from the punishment I deserved for my sins and iniquities)?

Will I spend time with my groom?, my Prince, today? He is my Knight in Shining Armor! I am part of His bride, which is made up of all believers who have put their trust in Him, as Messiah Yeshua, our Redeemer.

Do I delight in Him? Delighting in Him, alone, can do things so wonderful and blessed that we can only know them by giving our whole lives to Him and to His service, for the rest of our days. !!! Delighting in Yeshua brings us more joy than we can express in words! This joy is only known by those who also experience those same joys, ... they are found only in fellowship with Him -- Yeshua, The Lord of glory. Through prayer! Through studying His Word! Through meditating on verses in His Word!

Will you think about this?: He has chosen you! (He has chosen me!) He has ordained me (He qualifies "the called"!), that I should go forth and produce fruit (souls He has "won" into His Kingdom, through me sharing Who He truly is, and what He has done in my life to bring me rebirth in Him), and that that fruit should "remain." (last) -- as He says in the Gospel of John, chapter 15, verse 16.

Only what I do righteously for God's glory will last. The rest will be burned up.

What will you do with this Man? -- The One Whom I call Yeshua?

He is waiting at the 'door.' He is a gentleman. He is patient, kind-hearted, and gentle.

He is humble and meek -- with His Strength under control, and He realizes Who He is, under His Father's authority.

Do I understand who I am? Do I realize how much I must depend on Him, every moment? -- for breath, for life, for everything I need ...

He can be trusted! He does all things the best way. He knows what I need, to make me more pure in heart, and more compassionate toward others.

He knows how to mold me, into the brilliant diamond, or the honorable vessel of clay, that He can use to point others to new life in Him, and to a most wonderful, most fulfilling and complete Life, in Him. But will I cooperate with Him, in the times when He must chip off my rough spots, or the parts of me that do not let His Light of Love shine through to others?

Let's choose to allow Him to do His purifying work in us. It hurts, while the "purifying" or "work of purging" is going on, but only because we want things as we like them. And even that would not be satisfying, truly. We deceive ourselves in that way. ... His Way is always best!

We can choose to see that, in all events of life as believers, He will ever be with us, and will guide us through all dark valleys into a wide and level place of Light (He calls it, in His Word). He will never forsake us, nor will He leave us.

He is ever with us! And He walks with us and goes through all that we go through. And He only allows as much as we can handle, with Him. He always enables us to bear it, but we must cry out to, or call upon Him, to help us and enable us to endure. He will give us strength and determination to do what is right, and do it wholeheartedly, knowing He fights all our battles, in reality. And He never loses; He always wins!

If we try to go through it and deal with "life," (on earth) by ourselves, by making our own decisions, or without asking Him to help us through it, we will miss all the help and sufficiency He has available to us, as His children.

Let's trust Him! He will carry us through! He holds us up with His everlasting Arms (of victory)! He cannot fail! He knows the end of all things! His plan is to bring us into our (and His) desired Haven of Rest! That is Yeshua! (and one might also say it is "Heaven")

May the Lord of goodness, Shalom Peace and true completeness and fulfillment fill you with reassurance that He will surely deliver you ... from all that you need deliverance from! He knows it all!

What is the future for "healthcare" that American citizens will choose ?

The email below was forwarded to me by a friend. It is worth reading.

The news is quite sad. Since plans for a Socialistic / Communistic form of government would be in Hillary's plans if Americans were to be so ignorant to elect her before they realize her true (underlying, cloaked in darkness) plans she has hinted at, but not yet unveiled. She wouldn't do that until she was already elected and in office. That's how deceivers and liars work, folks. Let's talk truth!

I do hope that my readers will share the email below with all whom they know. If everyone becomes well informed about "some" Presidential candidates, who do have a powerful agenda (though evil at its roots), no one would vote for a former Socialism / Marxism / Communism promoter.

Nor would any of us wish for our children or grandchildren to have to live under such an oppressive ruler. Nor would we wish our children or grandchildren to have to "wait" unreasonable lengths of time to be treated for some medical malady. Just ask any citizen in England what they think about their already-Socialistic healthcare system. They will tell you. It is horrible! Only the Queen and her family, and the rich there in England, get the personal, high-qaulity healthcare that every citizen is entitled to, under the law.

Our judges are out of control already, those in high positions, that is. They do not know the real intent nor understand the Constitution, since many law schools in recent years have let themselves fall into the pit of wrong thinking and believing lies about the history of our nation and the writings of all its founders. The Library of Congress and other links David Barton has on his site (WallBuilders) will more than do the job of educating anyone who will take the time to read what's there, about our founders and what they truly believed, and hoped this republic would be "like," after they were dead and gone.

They would be appalled and completely opposed to any woman running for President! That is based on the limitless wisdom shared by One Who knows all things! He made all things! They would also do all they could to let all the citizens know the truth, and what's in store if they do elect someone of Hillary's caliber, to an office like that of President. She is nothing more than a puppet, used by a power mightier than she is, but one that seeks only to do evil, destroy anyone who believes in and follows the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and His only begotten Son, Yeshua ha Meschiach (Jesus Christ, the Anointed One of God).

If we do not share the truth about "what's going on" in our land, who will?

Subject: Canada's Health care system from a Canadians point of view.
Hey Guys; I seen on the news up here in Canada where Hillary Clinton introduced her new health care plan. Something similar to what we have in Canada. I also heard t hat Michael Moore was raving about the health care up here in Canada in his latest movie. As your friend and someone who lives with the Canada health care plan I thought I would give you some facts about this great medical plan that we have in Canada.
First of all:
1) The health care plan in Canada is not free. We pay a premium every month of $96. for Shirley and I to be covered. Sounds great eh. What they don't tell you is how much we pay in taxes to keep the health care system afloat. I am personally in the 55% tax bracket. Yes 55% of my earnings go to taxes. A large portion of that and I am not sure of the exact amount goes directly to health care our #1 expense.
2) I would not classify what we have as health care plan, it is more like a health diagnosis system. You can get into to see a doctor quick enough so he can tell you "yes indeed you are sick or you need an operation" but now the challenge becomes getting treated or operated on. We have waiting lists out the ying yang some as much as 2 years down the road.
3) Rather than fix what is wrong with you the usual tactic in Canada is to prescribe drugs. Have a pain here is a drug to take- not what is causing the pain and why. No time for checking you out because it is more important to move as many patients thru as possible each hour for Government re-imbursement
4) Many Canadians do not have a family Doctor.
5) Don't require emergency treatment as you may wait for hours in the emergency room waiting for treatment.
6) Shirley's dad cut his hand on a power saw a few weeks back and it required that his hand be put in a splint - to our surprise we had to pay $125. for a splint because it is not covered under health care plus we have to pay $60. for each visit for him to check it out each week.
7) Shirley's cousin was diagnosed with a heart blockage. Put on a waiting list . Died before he could get treatment.
8) Government allots so many operations per year. When that is done no more operations, unless you go to your local newspaper and plead your case and embarrass the government then money suddenly appears.
9)The Government takes great pride in telling us how much more they are increasing the funding for health care but waiting lists never get shorter. Government just keeps throwing mo ney at the problem but it never goes away. But they are good at finding new ways to tax us, but they don't call it a tax anymore it is now a user fee.
10) My mother needs an operation for a blockage in her leg but because she is a smoker they will not do it. Despite her and my father paying into the health care system all these years. My Mom is 80 years of age. Now there is talk that maybe we should not treat fat and obese people either because they are a drain on the health care system. Let me see now, what we want in Canada is a health care system for healthy people only. That should reduce our health care costs.
11) Forget getting a second opinion, what you see is what you get.
12) I can spend what money I have left after taxes on booze, cigarettes, junk foo d and anything else that could kill me but I am not allowed by law to spend my money on getting an operation I need because that would be jumping the queue. I must wait my turn except if I am a hockey player or athlete then I can get looked at right away. Go figger. Where else in the world can you spend money to kill yourself but not allowed to spend money to get healthy.
13) Oh did I mention that immigrants are covered automatically at tax payer expense having never contributed a dollar to the system and pay no premiums.
14) Oh yeh we now give free needles to drug users to try and keep them healthy. Wouldn't want a sickly druggie breaking into your house and stealing your things. But people with diabetes who pay into the health care system have to pay for their needles because it is not covered but the health care system.
I send this out not looking for sympathy but as the election looms in the states you will be hearing more and more about universal health care down there and the advocates will be pointing to Canada. I just want to make sure that you hear the truth about health care up here and have some food for thought and informed questions to ask when broached with this subject.
Step wisely and don't make the same mistakes we have.

He has shown us the Way. He has given us instructions for life and godliness, on this earth. We only need to read, learn, apply and live what He has commanded us to know. Then we are "in Him," and that changes everything that we knew in the past. We then are able to do all He wants us to. We need only find out what that is, for us. He is ready to teach us. Will we listen to His Voice of Truth? Will we look to Him as our Deliverer? Will we call out to Him to deliver us from any form of trouble, harm or danger?
Once we have yielded / surrendered control over our lives to Yeshua the Messiah, then we are seated in the heaven places *with* Him! We have power over angels, and over the devil. Yeshua has made it all possible. We need not fear. We need not worry. We need not be reluctant.
If we will only believe and trust in His Word, and in Yeshua, and in what He promises in His Word, we need only ask (crying out to God our Father in the Name and through the Blood of Yeshua the Messiah) or call upon Him, and He will give us what we ask, according to His Will. We must simply and humbly ask, submitting our lives to Him, in agreement with His Will.
Then we will see what is true in I John 3: 18 - 24, and in I John 4: 1 - 4, and 7 - 21 and in I John 5: 1 - 21. I will endeavour to type out these verses in a soon-coming blog entry. God be with you!

Some Helpful Thoughts -- More about me (KasaYeshua)

Some thoughts about * KasaYeshua * (me)

I work with our family in a ministry that aims to restore faith / trust in The Foundation of all Knowledge -- God's Word.
The Bible, God's Holy Word, is worth reading, is all true, and everything in it either has already happened or will happen to real people.

You can read "tomorrow's" news there. One must "dig" to find in it the hidden "treasures," which we call Rhemas. God uses those to lead us and guide us. Yeshua is the center and focus of study.

He and the Father God are One. Sh'ma Yisrael, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Echad. Yeshua is Melech ha Olam, the King of the Universe, The LORD !

I have been God's child since 1970. He drew me to Himself. He carried me through many trials and testings. He has never failed me. I have fallen, but He has picked me up every time. I have made big mistakes, but as I have repented, He has enabled me to follow Him better. He is faithful! He keeps all His promises!

He teaches me more about Himself, as I humble myself and let Him build in me His meek, God-fearing attitude of total dependence on Him. He is my all in all! He knows I can do nothing apart from Him! He has demonstrated to me that His Word is Truth, and that He wants to use it to both bring me to my knees, and also to lift me up in my spirit so high that I feel like I am soaring.

King David's Psalms inspire me afresh, each new day! I want to be a woman "after" God's own heart, like David.

He is my help and shield! He lifts me up when I am down. He shows me mercy when I show others mercy. He forgives me as I forgive others.

He has shown me He is whatever I need at any time! Baruch ha Shem El Shaddai ! My all-Sufficient One. Blessed be The Name! YHWH has bought me with the Blood of His Son, Yeshua. I am His.

He is enabling me to memorize verses in His Word, the Bible, so I can meditate on them, apply them to my life now, and learn to think more in agreement with God my Father. How encouraging that is!

I call these verses "Help Notes" He has written down, so I can use them like others use an instruction manual to guide them to use some piece of equipment. Rhemas in God's Word are the Sword the Holy Spirit uses to get down to the root of any problem, and bring a solution that only God could design. He is awesome!

Come join us in this journey. God is directing our paths. He has given us The Instruction Manual for Life. All we need do is read it and follow it, trusting its Author to use His design of us to benefit others' lives and through our weakness He shows Himself strong! His Name "El" means "strong."

Stand still and see the salvation (Yeshua) of The Lord ! He is ever with us! Fear not! The Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Amen! Hallelujah! Yeshua is Lord!

I can truly say He is my Light and my Salvation (Deliverer), my refuge and Strength, and my Haven of Rest. He has protected me from death and much suffering quite a few times! He is able to deliver you, too!

Yielding to God all areas of my life is a challenge, some times, and easy, at other times. But as I choose to give to Him my desires, plans, hopes and expectations, He has ever been so encouraging that I am not losing anything, but instead am gaining something I would not have had, had I held on to what I thought I wanted.

Do I value Him and a close relationship with God more than things on earth, that I know will not last? Do I see how I cannot grow close to God's loving Heart unless I let go of those things?

Am I willing to take Him at His Word and trust Him with my hopes and dreams? What I valued and held tightly to ... only allowed a wall to build up between God and me. I did not want that!!

Giving up what I (you) cannot keep will only gain for me (you) many blessings He is willing to give me (you). I found I only need to cry out to God and tell him everything. He will take care of it all, and will do a much better job of it than I can.

God will fight my battles for me. He just wants me to trust Him and believe His Word is true, and that He will accomplish that which I know I cannot do, anyway. He wants me to tell others about His Son, though (within myself) I am unable to do it. But He has paved the way.

If I just follow the example of His Son, Yeshua, in how to "win souls" to God's Kingdom, He will do the work through me, so others can turn their lives over to His control! He who wins souls is wise!

He is able. So ... on to victory! He gives me faith to believe, strength to accomplish all He gives me to do for Him, and He lives His Life through me, as I abide in Him, and walk with Him! wow! O Lord, help me to follow You faithfully! Thank You for giving me new life in Your Son, Yeshua! He is my Life !


A Prayer: Fill me with your Spirit in my soul (my mind, will and emotions) each new day, so that I can accomplish what only You could bring about by Your Power of genuine Love. That way, Your Name will be praised and glorified in what I do!

... that I may become less and less, and Your Son, Yeshua, may become more and more ....

Life continues to amaze me, as I learn more about our Maker.

Life still amazes us, if we will just keep looking up, and see The Light! The Bright and Morning Star! He shines for us, and through us, if we will but let Him "shine."

He is there and is ready to help us with any need we have. He becomes the grand fulfiller of needs, to everyone who calls upon Him, in believing trust. Just ask Him. His Name is Yeshua ha Meshiach. (some spell it differently; He is God Almighty's only-begotten Son, born of a virgin, Who suffered, died, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and was resurrected from the dead the third day. He now lives in Heaven. He gives us His Holy Spirit, the Ruach ha Kodesh, as His promise, and as our Teacher, so that we always have His Spirit with us.)

The one thing we can count on is ... that God is for us. Hallelujah ! Who can be against us, if we are in God's family of "friends"? In His family, we are either engrafted into His Vine, of The Anointed One of God, His Son Yeshua the Messiah ... or else we were wild branches in His Vine.

Either way, our Maker / Master Gardener / Vinedresser designs life so that we are wooed by Him, drawn by Him into His living Vine. He gives us His sustaining Life-blood to keep us going. He also gives us Food for thought. He shares that through His living Word. It is better than the most healthy food we could find. It keeps us "alive in Him." His living Word: some call it The Bible; some call it either the Old Covenant or the New Covenant Yeshua brought in, since He is the fulfillment / goal of The Law and The Prophets, which most call The Tanach.

Yeshua said "Think not that I am come to destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily, I say unto you, Till Heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from The Law, till all be fulfilled." To understand this, and most all things in life on earth, and life in Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:3, Yeshua shared "...verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again (of water and of The Spirit, Yeshua says later, in John 3: 5) (by one's belief in Him, by faith, through God's Grace), He cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3: 5 says "...Except a man be born again, of water and of The Spirit (of God the Father), he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

God our Father in Heaven, Who made us, and sustains us, gives us the faith to believe in Him and in His Son. He also gives us the directions for what to do next. He even gives us the Strength to go on, when trials or suffering or roadblocks come along, while we are on earth. He keeps all His promises, so all we need do is learn them, remember them, think on them, and live by them, asking Him to bring them about, on our behalf. He will do it.

God says Himself that nothing is too hard for Him. That is true. All His Word is Truth! So, we can count on Him to bring about all good things He has written down, using men's hands to share His thoughts with us. We can count on our Father to hear and answer all our prayers. If we ask believing, not doubting. If we ask for what He wants us to have. If we ask for what will bring attention and glory to Him alone. If we ask for what pleases Him and can be used by Him to change the lives of others, through the mighty miracles He is easily able to bring about. If we ask knowing Him. If we ask as a result of keeping His commandments, especially those shared by His Son, Yeshua, in The New Covenant (called the New Testament by many believers). If we ask as a result of keeping His Word, and of abiding in Yeshua, our Lord, Saviour, Redeemer and the Propitiation for our sins ... and of those of all people who are in this world. Anyone who will believe can receive Yeshua's free gift (we cannot buy it by our good works or being "a good person.") of deliverance from the punishment we deserve for our sins, our iniquities and our sinfulness that is inborn in us.

If we call upon The Name (ha Shem) of The Lord YHWH, we will be "saved." That means our sins will not be imputed to us. Our "account" will be marked "paid in full." How is that? Yeshua was the sinless (by choice) volunteer, Who came to earth for the purpose of ''laying down His Life for His friends." He calls anyone "friend" (as He shares in John 15: 7-17) who does *whatsoever* He commands them to do.

His commands can be found in The Word (The Bible, the living Word of God). Yeshua's free-will sacrifice of His life (as the only innocent-of-sin, truly pure-hearted, whole-heartedly obedient human, Emmanuel, "God-with-us") paved the way for anyone who will choose to believe what He stands for, what He taught, what He did in our place on the Roman execution stake (some call 'the cross') ... realizing that they can do nothing on their own to earn eternal life or a ticket to Heaven ... due to their breaking any one or all of The Ten Commandments, as taught in Exodus 20: 1-17. None of us can live "righteous" lives, on our own, in our own strength. When God / Yeshua is our Strength, He shows us that when we are weak, that is when He is strong. He just wants us to "stand and see the salvation of The Lord." -- Exodus 14: 13 "Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation (Yeshua) of The Lord YHWH ...." Though He was speaking there to His people Israel, He also speaks those words to us. Fear not.

Stand ... as He does in the letter Paul wrote to the Ephesian believers:
Ephesians 6: 10-11, 13-14, 16, 17 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord (Adonai), and in the power of His Might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles (schemes) of the devil. ... wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (firm in His strength, authority). Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having on the breastplate of Righteousness; ... Above all, taking the shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Rhema / Word of God:"

In the book of James (New Covenant), one of Yeshua's real-life half brothers shares that (James 2: 10) "... whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God," as Rav Shaul (Paul) shares in his letter to the Roman believers in Romans 3: 23, of the New Covenant.

We must become aware of our spiritual condition. We must acknowledge our complete dependence on God, our Father, for everything, after we have seen clearly our completely hopeless condition we have lived in, ... in our flesh, and for our own selves, for our own unenlightened motives.

Only The true Light can show us The Way. He is Yeshua, God's Son! Only The One Who has been tempted in all ways like as we are tempted, but Who did not choose to sin ... can understand all that we go through, each day, and yet show us The Way out of doing what's wrong. He can show us how to choose to do what is right! We must simply choose to listen to Him! And trust in Him! He is able to do all things!

He created the entire universe. Helping us is so easy for Him! He loves "being there" for us. His Name is YHWH Shammah.

He loves lifting us up, since He is our gentle but strong Shepherd, YHWH Raah. He *is* the Strong One, El. And He is El Shaddai, our All-Sufficient One!

He needs nothing. He simply chooses to give us His Love, and He planned it out before we were born on this earth. He chose to come suffer to pay the sin debt each of us owe to God our Maker, just because He loves us.

He even designs things to happen in this world to get our attention, so we will begin to listen to His loving Voice! And He promises He cares for us, and because of that, He says we must cast all our cares upon Him.

I Peter 5: 5 First, He tells us to "be clothed in humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth (continually) grace (the power / ability and the desire to do His Will) to the humble."

We just need to see we can do nothing, of ourselves, to deliver us from any danger or any problem, or from our future, after death, to determine "where" we will *go.* We can only *cry out* to our Maker, God our Father, asking Him "save me, Lord!" Then, He answers us! ... with Love, tenderness, Peace that passes all understanding, and Joy. His Joy is our Strength.

He wants us to hope only in Him, since He knows He alone holds the universe together, and He alone can deliver us from all harm. He delivers us from the domain of darkness and transfers us into the Kingdom of His Dear Son, Yeshua, into His Kingdom of marvelous Light. He is able. Remember, nothing is too hard for Him!

He loves you, and always will. He will never leave you, if you are His child, nor will He forsake you, because He can only can do good. He cannot do anything evil.

James reminds us (James 1: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22)
"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which The Lord hath promised to them that love Him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawan away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from The Father of lights, with whom is not variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of His own Will begat He us with The Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His cfreatures. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save (deliver) your souls. But be ye doers of The Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

God will supply "the rest of the story" Himself. He knows your need. He will fulfill it. And He will bless you with His deliverance, as He sees fit, according to your belief, and your heart attitude.

For those of you who already know Him: Keep believing in Yeshua! Keep trusting in what He ways, and not in what you think or feel.

Proverbs 3: 1-14 reminds me "My son (my daughter), forget not My Law; (My Teaching, in My Torah) but let thine heart keep My Commandments: For length of days, and long life, and Peace, shall they add to thee. Let not Mercy and Truth forsake thee: bind them about they neck; write them on the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in The Lord YHWH with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him (thank Him, realize He has done it all, and enabled you to do any good thing, and has delivered you from any danger or trouble, any time it has occurred.), and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord (reverence Him, realize Who He is and honor Him, knowing He alone can destroy or revive or renew you or your soul; your life is in His Hands at all times) and depart from evil. It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honor The Lord YHWH with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and they presses shall burst out with new wine. My son (my daughter), despise not the chastening of The Lord YHWH; neither be weary of His correction: For whom The Lord YHWH loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom He delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth Wisdom, and the man that getteth Understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof (more) than fine gold."

Proverbs 22: 4 reminds us that "By humility and the fear of The Lord YHWH are riches, and honor, and life." Spiritual riches. Honor the Lord, and He will honor you. Spiritual Life -- life eternal! He alone can grant that. Ask Him.

When I realize my condition before I trusted in Messiah to ''deliver me,'' I see I was on the road to destruction, ... eternal destruction! I can put my trust in Him now. He alone can deliver me from the results of me living life my way. He is The Way to true Life eternal.

Yeshua has redeemed me, by His Grace, with His Blood He shed in my place, on the Roman execution stake, one day, almost 2000 years ago. He gave His Life for me. Will I give my life for Him?

He knows I am unworthy. He knows I do not deserve to live with Him forever. He knows He is my only Hope. My expectation comes from Him alone. -- King David said in Psalm 62: 5-7 "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation (my Deliverer): my Defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my Glory: the Rock of my strength, and my Refuge, is in God." -- Hallelujah!

He is able to deliver you, too. ;o) Just ask Him. He is always home, and always ready to listen. His heart is tender toward you. He is the most patient Friend anyone could have. He *is* Understanding! He *is* Love! He knows all you are going through. And Yeshua goes through it *with* you! He is our Compassionate Friend.

He knows. He knows all we've done, ... and He still chooses to love us, as we are. He changes us ... over time. As we choose to take one step forward, He lifts us up to accomplish that. He leads us, directs our steps, and even lights our pathway. He is there when we arrive at the goal line.

And He is The One Who chose us, as He reminds us in John 15: 16 "Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit (souls we've won for His Kingdom), and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of The Father in My Name, He may give it (to) you." Hallelujah!

He is good to us, His children, ... all the time. We just have to look with pure-hearted eyes, to see clearly what He has done for us, and He is busy at work every day. We just don't always see what He has protected us "from." But He does. And He will wait for us to thank Him, but He does hope we will *thank* Him, every day, for His blessings. They are so many, we cannot count them all. If we tried to, we would find that they are more in number than the sands of the seashore ... innumerable.

In Rav Shaul's (Paul's) letter to the Galatians, he reminds us: "I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of The Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me."

This is a must-read article, containing information that will affect all our lives. Nothing in our law system is unchangeable. Nurturing Nature

Air pollution. Water pollution. Soil pollution. Noise pollution. Pesticides. Toxins. Chemical residues. Thankfully, we have the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to protect us against these dangers. Right?

Without the EPA regulators and federal legislation (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, etc.), we’d be drowning in carcinogens, suffocating in smog, and suffering health- and life-threatening bombardment from innumerable sources. At least, it is probably fair to say, that is the perception of many Americans who are not old enough to have known (or who are too old to remember) LBEPA, life before EPA.

The EPA was created by an Executive Order of President Richard Nixon on December 2, 1970, following his signing of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Clean Air Amendments Act of 1970. These three actions by President Nixon signaled a profound change in environmental policy in the United States, dramatically shifting regulatory powers from the states and local communities to a new federal bureaucracy in Washington, D.C., one that would burgeon spectacularly into a sprawling leviathan of 20,000 employees exercising unprecedented powers over virtually every aspect of our everyday lives.

Dr. Milton Friedman, the Nobel Prize-winning economist who passed away in November 2006, shocked and angered many environmentalists with his suggestion that the EPA should be abolished. Constitutionalist scholar/author/commentator Dan Smoot and other conservatives and constitutionalists had been advocating abolition of the agency ever since its creation. But these advocates were (and are) usually dismissed as cranks who would set back the cause of environmental health and safety to the Dark Ages.

In recent years, however, the wisdom of granting such wide-ranging power to federal bureaucrats has been called into question by many scientists and economists — and even by environmental activists concerned over environmental damage caused by the EPA model of central planning.

The MTBE debacle was the wake-up call for many erstwhile EPA supporters. That ongoing scandal and its costly environmental remediation came about as a result of the agency’s 1990 mandate that oxygenates such as MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether) be added to fuels to reduce air pollution. Oil companies invested $7 billion retrofitting refineries to produce the mandated additive and, of course, consumers spent billions of dollars more for the resulting increased cost of fuel. However, a study by the National Research Council in 1999 found that MTBE gas reformulation had had almost negligible impact on reducing vehicle pollution emissions. But wasting billions of dollars for no appreciable environmental or health benefit is not the worst of it.

As most of the American public is now aware, MTBE has turned out to be a very problematic substance. Gasoline, if spilled or leaked, does not spread far and quickly breaks down. MTBE, on the other hand, is highly soluble in water and persists for a long time. Unfortunately, it has made its way into the groundwater of thousands of cities and communities.

How serious a health threat do MTBE levels pose to humans, livestock, pets, fish, and wildlife? That is still being debated in scientific circles. It may turn out not to be serious, after all, even though the chemical ruins the taste of the contaminated water. One thing is certain, however; if a private company or a state or local agency had caused even a tiny fraction of the damage that the EPA has caused through its MTBE fiasco, it would be facing serious punitive damages and civil penalties, if not criminal charges.

The EPA regularly levies onerous sanctions on companies, farmers, and local communities for what Professor Carl Winters, one of the nation’s leading food toxicologists, calls “super-exaggerated risks.” But the EPA bureaucracy contaminates the water supply of much of the country and then continues blithely on its way. Apparently unaccountable, its presumed moral authority as the guardian of America’s health and environmental quality remains seemingly undiminished in the eyes of a risk-averse public that has become conditioned to look to Washington for protection from an endless tsunami of ecological “crises.”

But the MTBE scandal is far from the only debacle of the EPA’s own making. Some of the EPA’s own leading scientists have blistered the agency with withering condemnation. “Environmental actions based on poor science waste the nation’s resources that could be spent effectively protecting public health and the environment,” says veteran EPA microbiologist David Lewis. “In the end, EPA’s scientifically unsound regulations will only exacerbate the very problems they aim to solve and create new problems for future generations.”

Professor Bruce N. Ames, creator of the standard Ames Test for carcinogens and director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Center at the University of California at Berkeley, has been highly critical of the EPA’s continued use of long-discredited high-dose tests in rats that are useless in predicting infinitely smaller doses in humans. Dr. Ames, like many other experts in the field, has repeatedly pointed out that the EPA’s insistence on spending hundreds of billions of dollars on ridiculously small risks perversely misdirects vital economic resources that should be spent on far more serious threats to health and safety. The result is that EPA policies are costing lives.

Law professor David Schoenbrod was one of the young activist attorneys from Yale University who helped launch both the EPA and the radical Natural Resources Defense Council. He now sees those entities as largely harmful and concerned with accruing political power, not protecting the environment. Dr. Schoenbrod thinks “the federal government should regulate only the very small fraction of [pollutants] that states cannot regulate on their own without hurting other states or other countries.”

Bigger Is Not Better

Professor Schoenbrod and many others who have been similarly involved in the regulatory process are coming to the conclusion that the central planning model of caring for human health and safety and environmental quality is not the efficient, salutary mechanism they had once thought. In fact, it has proven to be inimical to those goals. What, then, is the answer? How can we reasonably protect individuals and human society from genuine health threats and the natural environment from destructive practices?

Many Americans will be relieved to discover that this is not an insoluble dilemma. In fact, the good news is we are much more likely to achieve those goals, and at a fraction of the current cost, by returning to the constitutional federalism of an earlier era. There is an additional bonus: by devolving regulatory control to constitutionally appropriate state and local levels, we will restore vital checks and balances that are essential to sustainable liberty and that have been stripped away or dangerously weakened over the past four decades.

Although environmentalists usually credit the EPA with the improvements in our air quality, the fact is, abundant evidence attests that air quality in the United States has been steadily improving since the 1950s, due to technological advances and state and local air-pollution standards targeting smoke, soot, and other emissions. Dr. Indur M. Goklany, who has worked for the Interior Department and the EPA and was in charge of technical assessment for the National Commission on Air Quality, has noted:

By the time the Clean Air Amendments of 1970 had federalized air pollution control, smoke had been conquered in most urban areas, and air quality was improving substantially in the most polluted areas — particularly for the very pollutants perceived to be causing the worst problems.

The same can be said for most other pollution concerns. From a practical standpoint, there is no sound reason to expect that Washington knows best or that the federal government can more effectively and efficiently deal with environmental matters. This is evident not only from a survey of the EPA’s many disastrous policies, but from the record of other federal agencies that deal with the environment.

The U.S. Forest Service’s mismanagement of its 193 million acres of forestland has been an ongoing scandal for decades. In 1999, a federal General Accounting Office study entitled Catastrophic Wildfire Threats warned that “39 million acres on national forests in the interior West are at high risk of catastrophic wildfire” due to practices that have resulted in unnatural and excessive tree density, massive buildup of undergrowth, disease, and insect infestation. Since then, the estimated at-risk forestland in our national forests has increased by another 31 million acres. Every year, huge wildfires destroy millions of acres of forest and wildlife habitat and send more pollution and “greenhouse gases” into our air than all of our factories combined. By comparison, state and private forestlands are much healthier, sustain proportionately less wildfire damage, and provide greater economic return to taxpayers and local communities.

Likewise, the federal Bureau of Land Management, with 258 million acres — around 13 percent of our national land surface — has been charged in internal and independent audits (Inspector General and General Accounting Office) with rangeland and forest mismanagement, corrupt land swaps with developers, and serious environmental degradation. Again, side-by-side comparisons show that state lands and private land owners usually do a better job.

The National Park Service’s 84 million acres include national jewels such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite parks. Unfortunately, congressional and independent studies (Congressional Research Service, General Accounting Office, Inspector General) have shown time and again that NPS mismanagement and neglect have put many of these treasures in jeopardy. Yet Congress continues to add even more scenic wonders to its supposed “protective” custody.

A major problem confronting the managers of what are euphemistically called the federal “public lands” — although the “public” is increasingly excluded from access to said lands — is the shear size of these massive holdings, combined with the usual problems of bureaucracy and the remote distance of policymakers in Washington. However, even more important is that the transfer of control over these lands to the feds, like the transfer to the EPA of environmental regulation, short-circuited a very important shield that protected not only the environment but also the authority of state and local governments, as well as private property rights. As Harvard law professor Harold Berman noted in Talks on American Law, a critical element in the founding of our Republic “was the reception of the English common law … together with certain English statutes.”

Common law, write Roger E. Meiners and Bruce Yandle in their 1998 study The Common Law: How It Protects the Environment, “reflected the view that free people must take responsibility for their actions and must be held responsible for their actions, with the courts providing an important avenue for holding them accountable. Many state constitutions expressly adopted the English common law.”

“Today, in contrast,” they note, “law is mostly regulatory management. Citizens and their lawyers negotiate, arbitrate, and litigate with the many arms of the pervasive regulatory state. This arrangement is fundamentally different from the founders’ understanding of the relationship between the people and their government.”

Meiners and Yandle observe:

Long ago, before the terminology of environmental degradation evolved and the regulatory machinery began to determine what constitutes illegal pollution, people knew that they and their property could suffer from noxious pollutants. Such pollution was offensive; sometimes it injured people’s health; and sometimes it damaged property values. The protection against this invasion came primarily through legal actions for trespass and nuisance. Those who allowed something noxious to escape their control and invade the property of others could be held accountable for their actions through private litigation. (In many cases, either trespass or nuisance could apply, since both actions were often involved when pollution reached others’ property.)

The authors note that “common-law protection of water does not apply only to those who own property that abuts a waterway but to all who have a right to use the water, for purposes including recreation.”

But, surely, such an antiquated system could not provide adequate environmental protection against the depredations of rapacious commercial interests and huge multi-national corporations. Actually, it can. As Meiners and Yandle show from their survey of case law from the past two centuries, courts have consistently upheld the property rights of farmers, small communities, and small land owners against the environmental pollution caused to surface water, ground water, and air caused by Big Government and Big Business.

“The record of common-law cases is clear: It imposes tough liability on those who damage the environment. Yes, mistakes are made. Sometimes liability is imposed when it should not be; sometimes damages assessed are too high; sometimes liability is not imposed when it should be. But it seems far better for such individual mistakes to be made (some of which are rectified on appeal) than for politically inspired policies to impose costs on all.”

“Why,” they ask, “if environmental quality is the goal, was the common law abandoned in favor of central planning and political control? Political control cannot be based on evidence of superior performance by government bodies. The evidence continues to mount that governments are poor environmental stewards and that government regulation is wasteful, cumbersome, and sometimes ineffective.”

Prof. Schoenbrod provides a chilling admission in this regard. “As my generation of petulant young elitists came to understand the ways of power, we learned the trick of using the magic wand of idealism to obtain power,” he said in a 1999 essay, entitled “Legislating Ideals.”

The Clean Air Act and many other statutes modeled on it, he says, “allow a federal agency to run major segments of civil society on quasi-military lines running from Congress down through the EPA to states and ultimately the regulated entities.... The point of this system is power, not environmental quality.”

It is this will to acquire and exercise power, which is both dangerous to liberty as well as destructive of environmental quality, that America’s Founders so laboriously worked to stymie, and so ingeniously succeeded in accomplishing with the Constitution’s intricate system of checks and balances. One of the most important features of that system is the principle of federalism, which strictly limits the powers delegated to the national government. It is stated very eloquently by James Madison in essay #45 of The Federalist Papers:

The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce.... The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.

President Nixon had no constitutional authority to create the EPA; it was an act of usurpation, an illegal act that the Founders condemned in no uncertain terms. Congress had (and has) no authority to regulate pollution in the individual states; that is the purview of state and local governments. Hence, the ever expanding flood of federal environmental laws and regulations are, in the words of Thomas Jefferson, “unauthoritative, void and of no force.”

If government action truly is required to deal with a matter that is not amenable to private solution, the American citizen must always ask: what level of government (local, state, or federal) and what branch of government (legislative, executive, or judicial) is the proper place to seek remedy? And he must then resist efforts by those who would subvert the constitutional order through false solutions that evade the rule of law.

George Washington addressed this vitally important issue in his farewell to the American people, noting:

If in the opinion of the People, the distribution or modification of the Constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. The precedent must always greatly overbalance in permanent evil any partial or transient benefit which the use can at any time yield.

It is long past time for the American people to stop the usurpations of power in the name of protecting the environment. It is vital that we do so to protect our freedoms as well as to protect the environment.
