I Peter 4 and Some Related Verses

I Peter 4: 14
If ye be reproached for the Name of Messiah (Yeshua), happy (are ye); for The Spirit of Glory and of God (The Father Almighty) resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.

II Corinthians 12: 10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Messiah's (Yeshua's) sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

II Corinthians 13: 4
For though He (Yeshua, The Messiah of God The Father Almighty, Who is YHVH) was crucified through weakness (He was not weak, but chose to become a human, which, for Him, was like weakness; men are weak, by far [!], compared to God), yet He liveth by The Power (dunamis) of (YHVH) God. For we also are weak, in Him, but we shall live with Him by The Power (dunamis) of God toward you (who are young believers).

James 1: 12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation (trial, proving, inner temptation): for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which Adonai YHVH hath prepared for them (those) that love (agapao, in Greek) Him.

II Timothy 3: 12
Yes, and all that will live Godly in Messiah Yeshua shall suffer persecution.

Romans 8: 35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? (shall) tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 31-34

What shall we then say to these things? If God (be) for us, who (can be) against us? {Amen!} {HalleluYah!}
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect {believers in His Son, Yeshua The Messiah}? (It is) God that justifieth.
Who (is) he that condemneth? (It is) Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at The Right Hand of God, Who also maketh intercession for us.
{note: our position, in Messiah Yeshua, *is* "in" Messiah, so we are also seated "in" Messiah, at The Right Hand of YHVH God, The Most High; we are not equal with Messiah Yeshua; we are merely "in" Him, Who is above all other things, other than YHVH God; that's in a very, very, very good place!}

Matthew 5: 10, 11, 12
Blessed (are) they which are persecuted for Righteousness' sake: for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are ye, when (men) shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad (!): for great (is) your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I Peter 3: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile;

Let him eschew (deviate, shun) evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

For the eyes of The Lord (supreme authority; controller) (are) over the righteous, and his ears are (open) unto their prayers: but the face of The Lord (supreme authority; controller) (is) against them that do evil.

And who (is) he that will harm (injure, exasperate) you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy (are ye): and be not afraid (to frighten; be alarmed) of their terror, neither be troubled;

But sanctify The Lord God (supreme authority; supreme Divinity) in your hearts: and (be) ready always to (give) an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. (The Anointed One; Messiah Yeshua)
